Why we built this
We built PURE Care after looking after our own parents, and finding out how much of their care lived in folders, phone galleries and our own memory. Every appointment began with the same question: what are they taking now? We wanted every family to have a better answer, near or far.

What is PURE Care?
PURE Care is a health record and medicine management service for families looking after elderly parents in India, and for elders managing their own care. You share prescriptions, reports and health cards. Our software reads them and our care team reviews them. You get one organised record, with a current medicine list, health trends over time and an emergency-ready summary.
Can you read handwritten prescriptions?
Yes. Our software reads them first, and our care team reviews what it has read. Anything we can't read clearly comes back to you as a question, never a guess. What do OD, BD and TDS mean?
Do you use AI?
Yes, and we're open about it. AI does the first reading and sorting, so it's fast. Our care team then reviews the result to help keep your records organised and accurate.
Do you give medical advice?
No. We organise and keep track; we don't diagnose or tell anyone what a result means. Those questions belong with their doctor, and we make sure you have everything ready to ask.
What is medicine reconciliation?
It means making one complete, checked list of every medicine a person takes, across all the specialist doctors they see, and looking for repeats or gaps. It matters most when someone sees several specialists or comes home from hospital. We do it every time a new prescription arrives.
Can my parent use it on their own?
Yes. Elders can sign up for themselves or their spouse, with a simple sign-up made for elders. WhatsApp and voice are coming, to make it easier still.
Can the whole family see it?
Yes. Invite brothers, sisters or the caregiver at home, and everyone sees the same up-to-date picture.
Can I use it from abroad?
Yes. Everything works from your phone, in any time zone. Read the guide for families abroad.
Which health cards can I keep in the kit?
ABHA, Ayushman and Vay Vandana cards, CGHS, ECHS, ESIC, railway medical cards, state health scheme cards, senior citizen cards and your health insurance details, so the right number is to hand at the hospital desk.
Is my family's information safe?
Records sit in encrypted cloud storage that your family, our care team and the services that run PURE Care can reach. We never sell your data.
Do you order medicines?
When you'd like us to, we'll help with refills, and nothing is ever ordered without your go-ahead. But our main job is keeping their health record whole.
Just need the monthly medicine refills?
That is welcome too. Send us the prescription and we will arrange the supply through our pharmacy partner. Where an approved lower-cost medicine with the same composition exists, you can see it and talk it over with your doctor before anything changes. A registered doctor from the pharmacy checks your prescription by phone, you approve the price first, and you pay on delivery.
